Work Remotely - After-Hours Support Position

Home Instead of Seacoast and Southern New Hampshire has 16 years of experience providing companionship and personal care services to seniors in their homes throughout the region. We are committed to providing 24/7 support to our CAREGivers and clients and are looking to hire one to two (1-2) after-hours supervisors to work remotely providing this support outside of office business hours. One week required paid training in our Portsmouth, New Hampshire office.  

The right candidate will exemplify professionalism, reliability, compassion, and a reassuring and calm nature. Prior experience providing personal care to senior clients is a plus but is not required!

Schedule: The after-hours supervisor must be available to take calls and complete appropriate follow-up between the hours of 5pm-8am on weeknights and from 4pm Friday through 8am Monday for weekends. Schedules rotate between 2-3 after-hours supervisors, and the rotation schedule is released with advanced notice.

Job Responsibilities include:

  • Answering all calls that come through to the after hours line in a professional and positive manner.
  • Completing the appropriate follow up on all calls that come through (Examples include, but are not limited to: solidifying coverage for a CAREGiver calling out sick; Providing support to a CAREGiver with care-related questions while on shift, ensuring the Client has adequate, high-quality care; Directing a CAREGiver on how to assist a Client who has had an injury or fall; etc.)
  • Report daily all calls that came through and the follow up action taken the night/weekend prior.
